This page explains how to get help with Keel by Surface Agency ("Keel") and how to tell Hand and Lever LLC, doing business as Surface Agency ("Surface"), about a security concern - safely, without sending passwords or data.

Get help with Keel

Email keel-support@surfaceagency.co with questions about Keel reports, access to Keel, or campaign work Surface runs through Keel. You can also contact your usual Surface team.

Report a security concern

Email security@surfaceagency.co if you:

• think you have found a security weakness in Keel;
• think data handled by Keel has been exposed or misused; or
• were asked for login details by someone claiming to be from Surface.

Please tell us:

• what you found or saw, and when;
• where - for example, the page or address involved;
• how to reproduce it, if it is a weakness; and
• how to reach you.

Please do not send passwords, login codes, access tokens, advertising data or screenshots that show a client's data. If we need more detail, we will arrange a safe way to share it. We will confirm that we received your report and may follow up with questions.

Privacy questions and data deletion

Email privacy@surfaceagency.co. To disconnect Keel or have your data deleted, follow the data deletion instructions. Our privacy policy explains what Keel collects and why.

We will never ask for your password

Surface will never ask you for the password or login code of your own advertising account. You give Keel access through each platform's own sharing and API access features: sharing assets in Meta Business Suite, accepting a link to Surface's Google Ads manager account, or giving a Surface user API access in Apple Ads. The Trade Desk needs an API login that your business issues to Surface; your administrator arranges it with your usual Surface team. If someone claiming to be from Surface asks for your password or login code, do not reply. Forward the message to security@surfaceagency.co.
